Students interested in coding, cybersecurity, startup ideas or campus competitions have a broad programme to examine at NEXUS’26. The official event website lists 34 competitions for the festival at the Barani Institute of Information Technology (BIIT) in Rawalpindi, with individual activities scheduled across November 16 to 20, 2026.
The website describes NEXUS’26 as a five day festival combining technology and culture with a climate conscious theme. Its countdown points to November 16. Students should check the schedule for their chosen activity rather than assume that every competition begins on the same day.

Options beyond a single coding contest
The technical programme includes Speed Programming, an Application Development Competition and Capture the Flag. It also lists a game jam, a startup pitching activity called VentureX, and Resilience Nexus, which focuses on artificial intelligence for climate resilience. These offer different starting points for students interested in software, security, entrepreneurship or applied technology.
The programme also includes bilingual declamation, calligraphy, essay writing and a skit competition. Chess, futsal, table tennis and gaming competitions appear alongside the technology and cultural activities. That mix makes the individual event descriptions useful: a student looking for a programming challenge will need different information from someone considering a sports or performance activity.
