These terms cover using findversity.com. They are short on purpose: the site is free for students, and we would rather be clear than long.

What Findversity is

Findversity is a directory and a set of tools for finding and comparing universities in Pakistan. We do not take applications. We are not a university, an agent, or an admissions authority, and we cannot admit anyone anywhere.

Always check with the university

Programme details, fees, deadlines and merit formulas are taken from universities' own published material, and they change — sometimes mid-cycle, sometimes without notice. A merit figure from our calculator is an estimate using the formula a university published, not a decision or a promise of admission.

Before you rely on anything here for an application, confirm it against the university's own website or admissions office. Where the two disagree, the university is right.

If you spot something wrong, please tell us through the contact form or at help.findversity@gmail.com — corrections from students are how a catalogue this size stays honest.

Your account

• Use a real email address you can access, so you can recover the account.
• Keep your password to yourself; if you sign in with Google, your Google account protects it.
• What you upload stays yours. Upload only your own documents.
• Do not use the site to break the law, to scrape it at a scale that degrades it for other students, or to impersonate anyone.

We may suspend an account that is being used for either of the last two, and we will say why if you ask.

Availability

The site is provided as it is, free of charge. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will never be down or never be wrong. We are not liable for losses arising from a decision you take based on the site — which is the practical reason for the check-with-the-university rule above.

The content on the site

Facts about universities and programmes come from those institutions' own publications. The way we present, organise and calculate with them — the design, the code, the comparison and merit tools — belongs to Findversity. You are welcome to use the site and share links to it; please don't republish the catalogue as your own product.

Changes and contact

If these terms change, the “last updated” date above moves. Questions go to help.findversity@gmail.com. These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan.
